You know why I’m smiling? Cause my top is cozy but breezy, has pockets and thumb holes AND my pants fit like a glove! They’re not rolling down, they’re holding me in and they too, my friends, have pockets.
For years women have ROARED to the masses: pockets! Give us pockets! Did they listen? Not yet they didn’t…
So what did we do? We bought the dresses that had pockets and made a point to adorably and obnoxiously point out: Look! My dress has pockets! Do you like my dress? Me too! It has POCKETS!
Some leggings had pockets. They (you know who they are) were like: look! It’s big enough to put your one key in it! Or a chapstick! Ladies love chapstick!
And we were like NO! Not good enough!
Then the side pocket came and we were like GASP! They listened to us….and they were like: of course we did, that’s all you went on about…
And we accepted our small victory with a side of: took you long enough…. :P

*Try 20 sec work and 10 rest for 6 rounds of each move ( so basically 3 min all together) before you move on the the next one. Rest 1 Min between moves.
👉I use the Tabata pro app for interval workouts but there are quite a few free ones you can download. You can also do the timer on your phone and just watch it. Otherwise just choose a small amount of reps and do it that way with a little rest between.

De-stressing is a process
.
Ironically, my mind and body are working HARD to work less. I’ve explored and revised unrealistic expectations, cut back in areas that don’t align with my values, and confronted the fears of not doing as much as I used to. That’s HARD WORK! But I’ve also settled in to slowing down, taking time for me, laying in savasana longer, going to bed early, and spending mornings cozying up rather than rushing to get things done. .
For those doing the same, I encourage you to give yourself grace and compassion in this process.

Heyyy, fit friends! #ad Looking for affordable fitness wear that's stylish and functional? (Who isn't? 😄) I have a brand for you to try! If you saw my stories you know rbxactive graciously sent me two items to try. This pullover has an an asymmetrical zip neck and is a faux wrap. This makes it the perfect outer layer for running or just lounging when it's chilly. I loved how lightweight it was while still keeping in the warmth, and also how it doesn't mess up your hair when you put it on and take it off due to the wide openings (that is HUGE, or is it just me that struggles with this? 🤣). It's under $40 and fits TTS (I'm a solid M). They sent a forest green one, but I probably would have chosen the charcoal heather or black one, although the green is pretty, too. The leggings (also under $40!) are sweat wicking and fade resistant. They are soooooo soft and I would lean toward yoga and lounging in them, although they would perform equally well in a sweaty cardio session. I love the space dye navy print they sent, but it also comes in black and burgundy space dye. They have good stretch and shape and aren't see-through. I wish I had sized down one to a S, though, because I would like them slightly tighter for working out. For hanging out, they're perfect. The inseam is 26" so they are a tad long for me, but would be perfect for most people I think. Anyway, I will definitely be trying more rbxactive items soon because the style, quality, and price were all right in my wheelhouse. 👍👍 Swipe 👉👉 to see the high waist of the leggings better.
